Duet / Scene Coaching
Bring your duet or scene partner for a dual session, where you can explore acting possibilities, develop character relationships and vocal expression to express effectively your duet or scene on stage. (Split the normal hourly rate - up to three people.)
Vocal technique and expression (e.g. tone, intonation, accents - we specialize in American, Eastern European and English accents and pronunciation), acting intentions and choices (e.g., motivation, stakes, roadblocks), movement ideas, and spinal alignment are just a few of the things we will explore to bring your scene or song to life.
Ensemble / Choir Coaching
Gather a small group together to have a group vocal lesson, working on vocal technique, posture, intonation, etiquette (how to follow the conductor, where to stand, how to hold sheet music, etc.), blend and harmony singing. Ask about our rates for choral technique!
Coaching for Self-Expression: Role Play
Practice expressing yourself with a particular person or in a particular situation where you find yourself holding back, choking up, or being unable to breathe.
We will explore what you want to say, as well as doing breathing and physical exercises to release your voice, to express even those things that are hard to say.
Koko Vocals will hold your hand and give you permission to do it wrong, but do it anyway until you feel confident to step out into the world with your new vocal self-expression.
